In the little village of Cangandala, Angola, countless children are living in poverty and struggling to survive with their families. Due to the lack of schools and opportunities, illiteracy rates are alarmingly high, perpetuating a cycle of poverty.
But there is hope. Eternity & Grace, in partnership with the NGO Africa de Olho Para o Futuro, has been working tirelessly since 2016 to provide resources and funds to Cangandala, giving children and their families a brighter future.
Through the Literacy Through the Bible program, hundreds of children have been rescued from illiteracy and are now able to continue their academic formation. But the work is far from over. The children in Cangandala still need food, education, and protection.
